Complex Data Modelling
"David [Founding Director of SolvIRR Limited] has supported Purity in solving a challenging problem surrounding the reporting and management of Customer investment rebates.
The volume of data and complexity created by 700+ Customer agreements and our by Product/Customer/Week reporting requirements resulted in a need to move away from traditional excel modelling to a data modelling solution. Using Excel’s Power Query and Power Pivot, David was able to collate our dataset from multiple sources, validate the data for inconsistencies or omissions, make the necessary calculations and present the information back in a format that is user friendly.
Due to the complexity of the Customer Investments the business has historically found it difficult to report margin accurately at SKU level, which this tool supports, enabling better commercial decision making and a better understanding of performance.
